Israeli Wine Festival To Benefit JFS
Event Overview
JFS is a forward-thinking health and social service agency dedicated to helping people achieve their full potential, regardless of age, race, religion or circumstances and has served the greater Richmond community since 1849. After a trip to vineyards in Israel January JFS decided that hosting an Israeli Wine Festival for the community as a fund-raising event might just work. He enlisted Echelon’s assistance to help the agency and it’s very lean staff plan a first time event for not only the agency, but the Richmond area, as well. And as far as we know, the first in the country.
The inaugural year of this very well-received event was a huge success and was at capacity at the gorgeous headquarters building of Troutman Sanders in downtown Richmond. There were 18 red, white and dessert wines featured from all regions of Israeli, as well as specialty dishes from 8 of Richmond’s hottest chefs and restaurants. One comment overheard at the end of the evening was “can you do this again next month!”
