Echelon Event Management was formed to meet greater Richmond’s market demand for strategy-driven total event management, a 360° process that achieves customer objectives and provides a solid return investment for all event stakeholders, from hosts to attendees.
Founded in 2003 by Tracey Leverty, a twenty year veteran of the events industry, with a Rolodex to die for and a “do whatever it takes” attitude, Echelon is the management company of choice for corporations and organizations hosting special events in the River City. Guided by the values of integrity, honesty and partnership, Echelon’s mission is to provide superior, cost-effective event management to corporations and not-for-profit organizations.

The Echelon event portfolio is diverse and includes unique events created and executed for clients in multiple industries. Echelon has produced a wide range of events, including: cause-related auctions and galas, corporate retreats, corporate anniversaries, one-of-a-kind corporate meetings and conferences, cause-related walks, marquis sporting events, community street festivals and outdoor concerts.
At Echelon, we believe in reinvesting in the community in which we do business and produce our events. We participate in projects like Creative Slam, an event that brings together some of the best creative talent in Richmond for one purpose: to help non-profit groups that are under the radar of big ad agencies. We also provide pro-bono assistance to several area non-profits, as well as teach/speak frequently on the topic of events and events as fund-raisers at Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Richmond and other educational settings. We also provide pro-bono assistance to the projects of Goochland Fellowship and Family Services, as well as pro-bono event fundraising consultation and event planning assistance to Henrico County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for children. Through all of our work, we’re committed to making Richmond, a great place to live, work, play and visit.
